Apple Glow Time Event Updates
The event took place at Apple Park in Cupertino (Apple’s Corporate Headquarters) in California. Apple’s Glowtime event started sharply at 10:30 PM IST and was live-streamed across multiple platforms, including Apple’s official website, YouTube channel, and the Apple TV app. Apple launched its much-anticipated iPhone 16, Watch Series 10, and Airpods in its Glowtime event on September 9, 2024. Along with unveiling new hardware, Apple also announced release dates for its next wave of software updates, including iOS 18, iPadOS 18, tvOS 18, watchOS 11, visionOS 2, and macOS Sequoia.

iPhone 16 Series
As anticipated, Apple launched the iPhone 16 series in its Glowtime event. The iPhone 16 series includes the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. All of these devices will come integrated with Apple Intelligence. Apple Intelligence is an advanced feature that can make movies with pre-available shots.
The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus have much of last year’s design, featuring 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch displays along with an aluminum frame. Both models will feature cameras arranged vertically to facilitate spatial video capture.
Additionally, these models will come integrated with the Apple A18 chipset and an upgraded base variant offering 8GB of RAM, enhancing support for new Apple Intelligence features. These two models, however, will be available in five new color options. In addition, they boast a customizable Action Button, a new Camera Control button, and, of course, a more powerful CPU.
Both the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus house a 48MP main camera with pixel binning, a 12MP telephoto camera with 2X zoom, and an improved ultrawide camera with autofocus. All the phones will be available in two versions: 256GB version and 512GB version, respectively. The prices of devices will largely depend on the version you pick. Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max have larger displays—6.3 inches and 6.9 inches, respectively. Both models are powered by the advanced A18 Pro chipset built on a 3-nanometre process.

iPhone 16 Series Prices
The Pro model will cost you somewhere around $999 for 128GB, while the Pro Max will be available for $1,199 for 256 GB. The pre-order for both models will begin on September 13 and will officially be on sale from September 20.
The Apple iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus have been priced at $799 and $899, respectively. The new devices boast much more powerful CPUs than their previous versions. Meanwhile, the iPhone 16’s 256GB version and 512GB version are priced at $1,070.63 and $1,308.81, respectively. The iPhone 16 Plus 256GB and 512GB variants are priced at $1,179 and $ 1,427, respectively.
Apple Watch Series 10 and Updated Apple Watch Ultra 2
Apple introduced the Apple Watch Series 10 with Titanium. The brand has substituted stainless steel with polished Titanium in its latest watch series. The new Apple Watch Series will have polished Titanium in place of stainless steel. Additionally, the Series 10 watches will have a larger, brighter OLED display, now 40% brighter and 10% thinner and lighter.
In addition, it will come with matching bands. Additionally, it features the new S10 chipset with a 4-core Neural Engine along with sleep apnea tracking. Apple plans to add the same feature to the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2. The Apple Watch Ultra 2 will now be available in a new Satin Black Titanium color option alongside the existing Natural Titanium model.

AirPods 4
Apple unveiled the AirPods 4 with several enhancements, including the new H2 chip. Users will have superior audio quality with these earbuds. You will be able to enjoy enhanced bass and treble, alongside Personalized Spatial Audio. The AirPods 4 will come housed in a compact USB-C case. They will come in two versions, with and without noise-canceling features. The one without noise cancellation feature is priced at $129, while the one with a noise-canceling version is priced at $179. Aside from that, the AirPods Max will be released in new colors, including blue, midnight, orange, purple, and starlight. Additionally, the AirPods Pro 2 will now have health-focused features, including a hearing aid function.
