Xiaomi a well known Chinese brand confirms that it will be launching its Xiaomi 15 series globally on March 2, 2025 which is just a day before the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona. This series is expected to include the Xiaomi 15, Xiaomi 15 Pro and the much awaited Xiaomi 15 Ultra.
Xiaomi has also shared a post on X with the statement Get ready for a Xiaomi Ultra reveal! In which they will be revealing their latest breakthroughs in the global stage. We will get to see how humans, cars and homes will come together with Connected Intelligence at the Xiaomi booth which is in Hall 3 | 3M30, Fira Barcelona Gran Via. They have also mentioned on their site regarding The Next Pinnacle in MWC 2025 Barcelona.
Xiaomi 15 Series: What to Expect
The Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro were launched in China on 29 October 2024. The smartphone features a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and a Leica-co-engineered camera system. But, before launching the Xiaomi 15 Ultra in MWC globally it is expected that the phone will make its debut in China on February 26.
Xiaomi 15 & 15 Pro
The Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro are expected to have the same design and features as their Chinese counterparts. Both smartphones will feature high refresh rate OLED displays, powerful Snapdragon processors and HyperOS 2 based on Android 15 .
Xiaomi 15 Ultra: Design and Specifications
There are rumors that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be available in black, white, and a dual tone black and white variant color and the features of the design include a large camera module Leica branded sensors. It is also expected that the smartphone will have premium materials with a glass back and a vegan leather variant.
It is also expected that the smartphone will have a 6,000mAh battery, 90W wired fast charging and 80W wireless charging. The device is also expected to carry satellite connectivity, a 2K quad curved display and a flagship camera system headlined by a 50MP 1 inch Sony LYT 900 sensor.
